The Viper MAXX DTG Pretreatment Machine allows for almost an unlimited spray application. You can spray a small left chest to an oversized spray area with the unique MAXX Stepping system. Here we show how to set and adjust where the MAXX will spray on the shirt.
HOW TO USE & CHANGE CUSTOM SPRAY PRESET AREAS ON THE VIPER MAXX
The Viper MAXX DTG Pretreatment Machine has 30 individual custom spray presets. Here we look at how to use the 4 standard preset buttons, change their values, and then add new custom spray presets to the Viper MAXX.
WHAT ARE "STEPS" AND HOW DO THEY WORK ON THE VIPER MAXX
The Viper MAXX DTG Pretreatment Machine utilizes "STEPS" between each spray pass. This allows the user to achieve the perfect spray pattern every time by adjusting the STEPS to "mate" up each spray pass no matter the spray tip or wear the tip might have incurred over time.
HOW TO USE & CHANGE THE AUTOCLEAN FEATURE ON THE VIPER MAXX
The Viper MAXX DTG Pretreatment Machine has a built in AutoClean feature that sprays a little bit of pretreatment through the spray tip after a period of inactivity. This is designed to help keep the spray tip open and wet during the course of a normal day of printing if you do not use the machine for a set period of time.
HOW TO CHANGE THE DATE AND TIME ON THE VIPER MAXX
NOTE: The Date & TIme Setting has been moved to the UTILITIES/ADMINISTRATIVE Screen. Changing these settings is a simple procedure to do on the Viper MAXX DTG direct to garment pretreating machine. Here we show you how to do it quickly and easily.
USING and RESETTING THE JOB COUNTER ON THE VIPER MAXX
The Viper MAXX has an individual job counter that shows the total number of sprays completed for that particular job or for the entire day. The Job Counter can be reset at any time - here we show you how.
HOW TO REMOVE, REPLACE, AND ALIGN SPRAY TIPS ON THE VIPER MAXX
Eventually you will need to remove the spray tip in the Viper MAXX. It's easy to do. Here we show how to remove it, replace with a new tip, and use the SPRAY TIP GUAGE to perfectly align the spray tip to the platen so you get that perfect spray every time.
HOW TO CLEAN AND OIL THE MOTION CONTROL RAIL SYSTEM OF THE VIPER MAXX
For long term functionality we recommend a weekly cleaning and oiling of the rail systems in the Viper MAXX. This preventative maintenance will help keep the rail system running smoothly and you pretreating without any issues.
